Hello, my name is Dennis McClain, a Vietnam Veteran. I would like to inform you of a recent, extremely concerning, issue that has developed at the Brownsburg, Indiana, Veterans Administration facility. A handout was given to me at the facility, indicating that they are considering closing the Pharmacy. Please note, this is a major concern for all those who go to the Brownsburg facility. All Veterans deserve to have a safe and easy to access facility, so that they do not have to go to separate facilities, i.e. Brownsburg then to Indianapolis to access services that the Brownsburg facility no longer offers. Veterans with wheelchairs, rollators, etc., should not have to struggle with finding a place to park and then the hassle of gaining access to the Indianapolis facility when Brownsburg already has easy access to parking and all facilities under one roof, why make our Veterans make two trips when it is unnecessary. Please note, if the VA decides to use mail in order to dispense prescriptions, how will shots and medications needed asap, be dispensed? I ask that you look into this matter and let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions. Thank you for your help in this matter. 134.215.49.47 (talk) 21:40, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
