– The word "Irish" is not helpful for disambiguation of these titles, since any competing topics are also Irish. John Maguire (Irish politician) is also still ambiguous WP:INCOMPLETEDAB since John Maguire (Irish senator) is an Irish politician named John Maguire. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 06:21, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment there's something wrong with the discussion, it says all the other topics are Irish, which is wrong, a U.S. state senator John O'Neill (congressman) is not an Irish topic, John O'Neill (Irish senator) shouldn't have been moved. -- 67.70.25.175 (talk) 04:53, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that one looks like a mistake. More important than whether he was Irish is that the "congressman" was, according to the article, a member of the Ohio Senate. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 07:33, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
