Request Removal of COI

[edit]

Mufka,

It seems Wikipedia participants are adding and cleaning up the references to the Joseph Brant Arseneau article. It also seems that this article was indeed, 4 years ago, "seeded" by people that worked with Arseneau, however after more research it is believed that that has stopped and it is now being contributed by people that are familiar with the work. In the best interest of the article, can the "Conflict of Interest" be removed; it may be dissuading more people for contributing. This may stall the process of either proving the article notable or not. Thank you 18:05, 23 August 2009 (UTC). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Don.offsky (talkcontribs)

We have worked with Dr. Arseneau and have recorded our work for 4 years on WIkipedia. We did so because we and many people belive it is very notable. To be fair it read very much like a resume 2 years a go but we have been trying to edited to concentrate on the contribution we made by recognizing him. Please let us know what needs to be done. Who is "we"? -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 22:56, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We are the GRC (Financial Servies) group at IBM and we also worked briefly with Dr. Muhammad Yunus at Grameen Bank. We first started out as a financial enginnering division [1] then into a pure fiance group[2] [3] [4], and finally for the IEEE, [5].

Thank you. —Preceding 23:15, 17 July 2009 (UTC)~ comment added by Bobuller (talkcontribs) 23:05, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A new concern has been posted on the Joseph Brant ARseneau page regarding conflict of interest, can someone please explain more. Edits have been made only to add more reliable references to the work and research that has been done. Bobuller (talk) 01:05, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As you mentioned above, you have worked with the subject of the article directly. Your direct experience could have an impact on the neutral point of view of the article. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 15:12, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Notice of Default" deleted

[edit]

Somebody removed information about Arseneau's work in the space industry in Brownsville, Texas. Both the awarding of the $750,000 and its disappearance were publicly discussed at city meetings, and the complaint was published and broadcast by the region's media outlets. As of 24 October 2023, the money is still missing. Can someone help me understand why this section had to be deleted?

→‎Space and DeepTech: Summary of August 2023 accusation published in Texas media outlets about Notice of Default and Demand for Repayment, for the unfulfilled obligations of the corporations founded or co-founded by Arseneau. (Revision as of 05:52, 3 September 2023)

COI tag (December 2023)

Subject seems to have edited the article, followed by someone who is clearly a paid/COI editor, and then another one. Drmies (talk) 22:27, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
