Blunt and the Creek Indians
[edit]An unsigned review essay in the New-York Review in 1825 (“Examination of the Controversy between Georgia and the Creeks”) is attributed to Blunt. It was a widely quoted and reprinted work of advocacy for the Creek Indians of Georgia and Alabama as they opposed a fraudulent treaty and tried to maintain their sovereignty. A copy of the pamphlet at the University of Tennessee libraries in Knoxville has a note attributing the review to Blunt. I haven't found a secondary source to back up the claim, so for now this is probably original research and does not belong in the article. Hoping an editor may run across something useful on this subject in case I don’t get to it first. Maybe a descendant? — ℜob C. alias ᴀʟᴀʀoʙ 14:05, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
American Annual Register
[edit]I see there is little about him and the American Annual Register. In fact, there is no article, apparently, for this publication in Wikipedia. I will open the empty link with the objective of starting an article on this topic and add a bit more on Blunt's contributions through it. Hope more will join.
