Death details with citation wanted

His article in German wikipedia states he was inducted into the Wehrmacht (German army) in 1940 and was killed NW of Moscow.Cloptonson (talk) 19:42, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

His article in German wikipedia is more detailed about his death circumstances, with a citation to a club history. I also notice it differs on his death date in that twice the article states his death date as 15 September 1941 (in contrast to October in this article). If he is listed as a Wehrmacht casualty on the German Volksbund war graves website it would be interesting to know if they have a date which could be treated as 'official'.
