Naming

[edit]

Why is this article titled José García-Margallo y Marfil? His name is José Manuel, not just José. Spanish names have no middle name. To be clear:

Given name: José Manuel

First or paternal surname: García-Margallo

Second or maternal surname: Marfil

The title should be changed. --IngenieroLoco (talk) 10:37, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lacking sound evidence for the current title, I've pulled the change. I've randomly clicked some already cited sources and it's José Manuel García-Margallo[1][2] or Jose Manuel García-Margallo [3][4][5] in them, not José. I don't see a rationale for Marfil, either way.--Asqueladd (talk) 13:19, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
