This is an excellent choice of topic, since Cruxent definitely merits an article. However, the style of this article is substantially different from other similar Wikipedia biographies. There should be a brief introductory paragraphy stating the basics of who he was and why he was notable followed by sections about his life, his career, his discoveries, etc. I would recommend looking at well-developed articles about other notable archaeologists in order to see models of how this one should be further developed. For example, the first paragraph contains details of his life that are not essential to a brief synopsis. You should also go farther towards inserting adequate hyperlinks to relevant articles, especially ones that would help the average reader to understand more about archaeology. Please see my revisions for some basic adjustments. I think you'll see that this article could be much improved with some basic modifications. Note that many of the hyperlinks that could be made were not done so correctly. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Saying "Not much is known about his early life" is peculiar. This information may be difficult to find, but it is surely known. When did he immigrate to Venezuela? Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Contributions to Archaeology section is one where you should discuss his many interests, from Paleoindian to historic occupations. It would be good to describe the significance of his specific finds. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

At present, the sections on Contributions to Archaeology, Contributions to Higher Education, and Contributions to Art are empty. While these suggest content that would improve the article, it is generally not good Wikipedia practice to include blank subsections. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note how I've added additional headings that organize his life and contributions into a meaningful sequence. I've also added a number of hyperlinks that augment the connectedness of the content. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The term Literary Works is not appropriate for the kind of scientific literature for which he is best known ("literary" usually refers to fiction or essays). You should include complete bibliographic citations for all of these entries, using a standard (and complete) bibliographic citation form (one that includes not only title and date, but also publisher, place of publication, etc.) Book titles should be set in italics. For his articles, you should include the names of the journals in which they appeared, the volume and issue numbers, and the specific page numbers of each. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You need to correct the references so that the footnotes make sense. Please see other Wikipedia articles for the correct style. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the current article on the Pre-Columbian period in Venezuela is not very good and makes no direct reference to Cruxent. You can improve this by adding appropriate hyperlinks back to this biographical article. Hoopes (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
