New article
[edit]I have created a new article on Johnny Taylor, replacing the deleted article from 2018.
This comedian clearly meets the notability criteria. He has been profiled multiple times by independent sources including newspapers, radio, and podcasts. He hosts a podcast for the prominent satire website The Hard Times, and he has released two albums on nationally prominent record label Stand Up! Records. He performs at comedy festivals nationwide and has toured several times across the U.S. with Brian Posehn.
I do agree that the previous article, written three years ago, did not present a solid case for his notability. I have written a completely new article drawn from multiple reliable independent secondary sources.

- Thank you! I recently came across the deletion and thought that a new article was needed. DFS (talk) 17:30, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- I agree this is notable, but I would just point out that Amazon and iTunes charts fail WP:SINGLEVENDOR and so are not considered notable charts. Richard3120 (talk) 15:03, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
