GOCE copy-editing drive

[edit]

I started working on this behemoth of a sports autobiography and made it to mid-way through the 2007 season. It is full a fantastic detail and a cheery, self-praising tone that would be ideal on a personal website but is clearly out of step with encyclopedic tone--at the very least, it needs reliable sources to back up the statements, and the great length of the article could almost definitely be consolidated into a list form by season (which it also includes). I'm a member of the Guild of Copy Editors, too. I didn't realize somebody had already gone through it, though. My bad, I guess.... The Utahraptor Talk/My mistakes; I mean, er, contributions 03:06, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
