I edited the comment about the trade being one of the most one-sided in history because it was inaccurate. Although Sawchuk had his very best days in his first stint with the Wings 1950-55, it would be hard to call him a bust in his second stint from 1957-64. Sawchuk appeared in the Cup finals three times, the NHL all star game three more times and was selected to the NHL Second All Star team three more times. He also recorded another 28 shutouts in those seven seasons. The trade benefitted both teams.
I also edited the next comments because I felt it was more important to emphasize Bucyk's consistency and durability, rather than Horvath's scoring. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Helmut Hedd (talk • contribs) 16:18, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've downgraded the quality of this article today from class = C to start class. While it has a lot of information, facts and figures, it has just 4 references. When it has more references (perhaps a total of 15?) then it can be returned to C class. PKT(alk)15:05, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
