Something about doughnuts

[edit]

After his wife Fanny produced a batch of doughnuts, Johnnie Cradock turned to the camera and declared on live television, "I hope all your doughnuts at home turn out just like Fanny's".

(For American readers, fannies = female pudenda in British slang.)

I'm certain I've seen this on tv at some time, but if anyone can source it I think it would be useful to include. (Makes me laugh anyway :) ) Annatto

Marriage

[edit]

Johnnie Cradock wasn't the fourth husband of Fanny. Her second husband refused to divorce her as he was a devout Catholic. Her third 'marriage' therefore wasn't legal. She went through a marriage ceremony with Johnnie, believing that her second (legal) husband had died. In fact, he didn't die until a year later, meaning that she was only married twice - and never to Johnnie. Gizmo1947 (talk) 08:39, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
