It appears that a new bio stub, John Williams (New York State Senator), is the same guy as the subject of this article. See links here and here. His entry in the newer Biographical Directory of the United States Congress doesn't mention getting expelled from the state senate, so it's possible that it's not the same guy, and that earlier writers confused the John Williamses. Or perhaps someone sympathetic to Mr Williams's legacy wrote the Biographical Directory entry and left out the embarrassing incident. I'd be nice to have a good, modern, scholarly reference for this guy. —KevinMyers13:42, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
