I can see in the history that the link to the vlog http://www.youtube.com/user/LordStrange has been added and taken away several times. I have followed the link and confirmed that it is indeed genuine and added it again. This is not a spam link, it is about the subject of the article. Please do not remove it again and instead discuss the issue here. d<3vid seaward | Talk 21:39, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am the one who's added this link several times. I'm a friend of John's and this is definitely his You Tube account and page. He identifies himself in virtually every video link and he talks and adds on to his famous Play Dirty series. Is it possible to revert back to the edits I added? I'm not up on the wiki-fu.

Also, this is a link to a current picture of John Wick via his Facebook page: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs499.ash1/27225_1393210428942_1192599148_1133784_253124_n.jpg Is it possible to post it here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.40.238.163 (talk) 01:01, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"John Wick Dead at 33" Hoax

[edit]

One theory about this hoax is that it was Wick himself who made the announcement, in order to see what people would say about him. 12.45.255.66 (talk) 19:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does a online rumor that lasts for a few hours really constitute a hoax? That's more like internet trolling, and Wikipedia should not be in the habit of recording every incident of trolling with no historical impact or significance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.164.228.213 (talk) 17:51, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, this incident doesn't seem particularly noteworthy, and have removed it from the article. Robofish (talk) 11:46, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

John Wick at Pyramid Magazine

[edit]

Wick wrote a column on gaming for the online magazine Pyramid for several months. It was controversial with the readership. His "resignation letter" took the form of an abbreviated column. I.e., the editor was expecting a normal column of the usual length, and instead unexpectedly received a much-shorter piece of no particular gaming utility. This was also a source of controversy, as it was markedly unprofessional to surprise the editor like that. 12.45.255.66 (talk) 19:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
