Louis Sitting Bull?

I found the record of a Jan 23rd 1887 marriage of Louis Sitting Bull, age 30, son of Tatanka Iyotanka Sr, on page 408 of the South Dakota Church Records (1875-1993). Is this perhaps the same person as John Sitting Bull? If so, it is perhaps a relevant source related to this article.
