What are the criteria for this man being denoted as a "striker"? From the article it seems he allowed himself one fatuous vanity appearance for a team he owns. He's not even a footballer, let alone a footballer with a specific position. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.133.7.237 (talk) 20:04, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- He played in the centre forward position in those last few minutes of the final league game of the season, replacing club first choice centre forward Paul Barnes - see the references. He qualifies as he played for a fully professional club in the English football league structure. See WP:Player Notability where he fulfills both criteria 1 and 2, plus he qualifies through WP:Notability anyway. That is was a vanity performance doesn't come into it.
