Homosexuality Issue

[edit]

Being a good friend of Bishop Rucyahana, and having talked with him and heard his beliefs, I don't think the "spiritual fight against homosexuality" is really the correct way to put it. The ordination of homosexual priests into the Episcopal Church wasn't the real issue; it was that, by allowing these ordinations, the Episcopal Church had to deny that the Scriptures were authoritative. Thus, while he does disagree with the idea of open homosexuals being ordained as priests, that is not the main issue he fought against. I will soon change the page accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.25.163.99 (talk) 15:47, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
