"Stratfordshire"
[edit]There has not been such a county in England. Is it a misspelling of Staffordshire, or is it an archaic rendering of Warwickshire (neighbouring Staffordshire, which includes the large town of Stratford-on-Avon)? It would be useful to have a citation for that recording of the county.Cloptonson (talk) 20:37, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
- Spelling is as per source. I'm not at all familiar with England but that's the spelling I got from the source. The exact quote is "John Beech was born in Stratfordshire, England on May 1, 1844." You can read the pdf here on page 15. Perhaps you could investigate and provide the correct spelling with a supporting source. EagerToddler39 (talk) 03:23, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
