Correct number of acres?

[edit]

Unless the acreage listed in this entry reflects the Presidio as well as the park, the acreage of Golden Gate Park should be listed as 1,017 (some say 1,013) instead of 100,000 acres.

"one of the largest public parks in the world"?

[edit]

It's a bold claim that Golden Gate Park is "one of the largest public parks in the world." Perhaps the original author meant "one of the largest urban parks in the country," but even that is arguable. The Wikipedia Article on Urban Parks, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Urban_park, has a list of the largest urban parks, and Golden Gate Park is pretty far down on the list.
