Identity?

Worldcat does not distinguish this author from the one we call John Farris - it gives the author of It's not about time the viaf of 79025009.

Is there any evidence that they are not the same person - eg a date of birth for the NewYorker?

There's a statement here: http://home.earthlink.net/~blackleatherrequired/ , the "Official website" of the other John Farris, but it looks fairly unofficial. Is it a WP:RS? PamD 23:37, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
