Material missing citations
[edit]Some of thie material may be covered by the restricted use obituaries, but I would have to go to the library to see the paper or microfilm copies to use it legitimately.
John Ebdon was a regular contributor to the thought for the day religious slot on tbe BBC's morning rush hour program, Today, on Radio 4.
I believe he obtained the DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross) in the second world war, but the web reference for this is arguably not safe enough without some corroboration, although I am reasonably confident from other things that I know that this is the correct John Ebdon and have no reason to believe that any false claim would be made.

Just a comment
[edit]Gone but not forgotten. Just got a mention from Roger Bolton on R4's 'Feedback', at the end of the programme. "If you have been, thanks for listening. As John Ebdon used to say a long time ago." - 21 June 2019 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.210.243 (talk) 16:19, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
