Identity of John Dawson

[edit]

The NSW parliament site states "Nothing is yet known of John Dawson". The 1894 newspaper account referenced in the article identifies him as a solicitor. It seems likely that this is his obituary "Death of Mr John Dawson". The Daily Telegraph. No. 7045. New South Wales, Australia. 7 January 1902. p. 4. Retrieved 8 April 2019 – via National Library of Australia. however it would require a reliable secondary source to link the 2 which I have not yet located.
