GA review (see here for criteria)

Nothing major here, just a few things

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    Just a few things here:

*In the lead and the off-ice section, does "Automotive" need to be capitalized? Just asking, as I am not sure, if the crisis is commonly conferred with proper noun status.

  • No, I just failed to correct the capitalization after copying the article title. Fixed.

*"and while he and his three brothers all played as well, Cullen's father never pressured his children" - can this be clarified, with the reference to his father and uncles earlier in the sentence the 'he' is rather non-specific.

  • Yup, fixed

*"Cullen was a standout with BU; He was" - no capitalization needed for 'he' in this case.

  • Fixed

*"He accepted an invitation to join the Canadian team at the 1991 Canada Cup, but chose not to participate." - maybe say "was invited" rather than accepted an invite, because if he declined to play, he didn't really accept the invite, or clarify if he accepted the invite to camp and later bowed out

  • It was the latter, fixed.
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Reference #12 doesn't have an access date
    Syntax error corrected
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  3. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  4. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  5. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
    Not applicable.
  6. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Minor changes, and then this article can be labeled as a GA.
And comments addressed. Thanks! Resolute 23:18, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
