Pen name Russ Ames
[edit]I think that this pen name is incorrectly attributed to John Burke. Russ Ames was a pen name of my father, James McCormick, used in the early fifties paper backs which he wrote. He also used other pen names one of which was Max Patrick. As far as I know the only book published under his own name was Yorkshire Stories in about 1953. During the forties and early fifties he had many short stories read on BBC Radio. ExTractorman (talk) 12:05, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
