I removed the following from this two-line stub:

"He was the first jockey to win one million dollars in one racing season."

I could not document this anywhere but based on his nationwide rides around 1900 to 1903 it seems possible and hence is of significance if someone can verify it. Handicapper (talk) 13:56, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
