John Brisbane Walker
[edit]Several newspaper articles from early century newspapers show his middle name spelled with this variant. A few examples: Weekly Ignacio Chieftan (1914), Colorado Transcript (1908), etc. I have 24 of these old examples. I located 156 old newspaper articles using the word "Brisben". Not unlike a modern day Google Fight, this doesn't really prove anything, but I did find it interesting that his middle name seemed to have two different spellings throughout the years (I believe I came across both spellings in modern publications as well). I'm only posting this for a form of posterity; I don't believe it is notable in any way to mention in the article. – Kerαunoςcopia◁galaxies 07:04, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

John Brisben Walker biography
[edit]I have an extensive revision of the current biography that I would like to submit for publication. I am new at this so am looking for assistance on how to have the revision vetted and approved. It adds information about this West Point career, time in China, muddled marital situation, and numerous entrepreneurial ventures. Any guidance welcome. Garryvoe (talk) 14:47, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
