Supervisor John Barbagelata was the only member of the SF Board of Supervisors who supported the SF street artists fight to get legal selling locations on the City's sidewalks so the article is incorrect when it says he disliked "hippies" and left wing radicals. I know because I was one the "hippie" left wing radicals who worked with him.
