[edit]A couple of inaccuracies I noticed, he built Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church in Winterport, Maine in 1850, 6 years before he built Saint John's in 1956. Also it wasn't just a group of ruffians that tar and feathered him, it was the group the know nothings. I'll find the sources and edit when I have a chance soon.
