Is the hymm “We Shall Meet Beyond the River” really known worldwide?

[edit]

The lead contains the statement that "his hymm “We Shall Meet Beyond the River” is known worldwide", but this is not mentioned anywhere in the body of the article and it is not supported by any citation. I have never heard of it in Australia, which is part of the world, so it is not at all clear what is the basis for the claim that it "is known worldwide".--Gronk Oz (talk) 09:44, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

DAB said it was familiar in all English-speaking countries, and they are scattered around the globe I think. Well maybe I need another rephrasing. I didn't want to repeat exactly what DAB said since it is not a public domain source. I can't say that I know the hymn, but it sounds like it is popular among Methodists.
