reasons for unmerge
[edit]I decided to un-merge this article as once I add the Amon Amarth template to all the neccesary articles, I will add MUCH more detail to this article. Hole in the wall 20:16, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
I dont know how to do this but i noticed a contradiction on the page, it sais he joined in 91 but it saiys in years active 1992 to preasent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.88.37.225 (talk) 16:01, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Founding member?
[edit]It is clear that Johan Hegg has sung for Amon Amarth the whole time the band's been called that. But beforehand, the band was called Scum. It was founded in 1988 and Johan Hegg didn't join Scum until 1991 or so, but he wasn't a founding member of Scum. Scum changed their name to Amon Amarth in 1992, and Johan Hegg stayed in the band when the name got changed. Therefore, considering this information, should that phrase "as a founding member" stay on this article or not? BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 01:08, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
I always consider Scum and Amon Amarth different bands, like Hellhammer and Celtic Frost.

- That's a respectable opinion. By the way, the citation needed tag needs to be there, since the information has some value to it, but needs a citation for ultimate confirmation. Thank you for your interest though. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 03:07, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Eh? Oh that, i thought I ha a source on it (from Terrorizer magazine, but it was the wrong issue.

- That's cool. If you ever find that Terrorizer magazine issue, then feel free to add it on the wikipedia article. It would be an accepted addition to the artcile. :) BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 21:40, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
