Text copied from a web site
[edit]The intro paragraphs are directly copied off of the web site http://www.joeybelladonna.com/biography.shtml - I am new here, not sure how this should be handled under Wikipedia's guidlines. The copyvio notice seemed a bit severe... 12.161.3.71 15:53, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- The above page no longer exists, and the current Joey Belladonna bio page on the site does not match what's in this page. Do we know if maybe *they* had copied *this* at the time (it's pretty common practice to get wiki info to put on other pages)? Can we consider this "problem" solved? Fair use rationale for Image:AnthraxSpreadingTheDisease.jpg
[edit]Image:AnthraxSpreadingTheDisease.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:04, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Vocals
[edit]Does anyone know what exactly happened to his voice between Spreading the Disease and Among the Living? There's a very clear difference in his voice on each, and my guess is that something happened to it somewhere between the two, because it's sounds very clear and effortless on Spreading the Disease, but very harsh and strained on Among the Living. It's particularly evident how forced it is on Among the Living when he tries to do screams, and just struggles with it so much. And after that, he began to avoid screams altogether on State of Euphoria and Persistence of Time. Anyone know of anything that might have had to do with this?

Voice type
[edit]The "voice type" field in the musical artist infobox template is intended for classical vocalists. This position is supported by Voice type and Voice classification in non-classical music. In the rare instance when a reliable source exists to support a voice type for a non-classical vocalist (i.e. Maria Carey) the source must be provided for inclusion in the infobox. I will revert the entry in this field for this page, if you disagree please comment at the talk page for the musical artist infobox. J04n(talk page) 14:27, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- A YouTube montage of clips of his singing is not a reliable source as to his voice type and should not be linked to Wikipedia as it is a copyright violation. J04n(talk page) 02:26, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
