A link I added and which got removed points to the JDF section of my 'Prepressure' site. It contains information on how to implement JDF, which production processes can be described using JDF and it provides a brief description of the history of JDF. This information enhances what is available on Wikipedia with personal experiences in real-world JDF projects - on a non-commercial site that has the same aim as Wikipedia. I fail to see how such a link can be referred to as 'Spam'. -- Printing4fun (talk) 20:02, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's spam because it came from a spamming behavior: adding lots of links to a site that one has a personal interest in. Read WP:EL. Dicklyon (talk) 20:38, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Prepressure is a reference site that contains about 400 pages relating to graphic arts. It has around 10 to 15 topics that partly overlap Wikipedia content. My intent was to check shared content on Wikipedia, add stuff if appropriate and link to the more elaborate info on my site. I apologize for the inconvenience this caused and will continue adding content to my site only. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Printing4fun (talkcontribs) 19:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
