[edit]OK, i will now use this area as i originally should (and, depending on what the administrator decides, i'm ready to sincerely apologise to everyone involved in this situation):
I have relocated the things he's best known for to a proper section (Style of play), so no need to write it again in the introduction. Also, i have read the three sources you added to that part, and none mention him as being "one of the best defensive midfielders in the world", so we can't write that per WP policy, that's original research.
If you look at the (current) article closely, you'll find that all your additions are there, minus the stuff about Ronaldo and the Morocco national team, that has nothing to do with Mr. Palhinha or his career (for example, he did not even play in that quarter-final match).
