see the page history. Author claims to be owner of the copyright, no assertion of permission of GFDL on the source website. Not sure what to do. - Aagtbdfoua 18:21, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accordingly I've replaced the {{db-copyvio}} with a regular {{copyvio}} to allow the editor a chance to make the addition to his website without having people repeatedly speedy the article down. Even if the article stays it will need to be wikified. skrshawk (Talk | Contribs) 18:25, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, what you can do to be sure I am the author is simply go to www.hoyhoy.com and you can see my name as the owner of the website. Morgan Wright. It's probably not possible for you to be certain for yourself, unless you get one of Jimmy's CD's and you will see, they used this very essay on two of his recent CD's and cited me as the author. If worse comes to worst, you can ask Jimmy himself, we were back and forth for a while to make sure I got all the informaton correct in the bio. I wrote this biography mostly around 1993 and have updated it often since. Jimmy is a friend of mine.
OK I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll go to the source web page and put a little note at the bottom of the page, that I give permission for Wikipedia to use this article. I don't know what else to do. That note will remain on the hoyhoy.com/cavallo.htm page for one week and then I'll remove it (it looks pretty weird there!!) Morgan Wright 18:41, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Morgan, the note has to remain for as long as Wikipedia can use the content. Please see my note on your talk page - I've explained the process in fairly good detail. If you have further questions feel free to reply to me there or on my talk page, but it's probably best to leave this page for matters relating to the subject for this page. skrshawk (Talk | Contribs) 18:44, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK I'll leave the note there then. I wish somebody else would wikify the page because frankly, I am not familiar enough with your tags. If you want, you can copy the photos to the page, I have no idea how to upload photos to Wikipedia. Jimmy gave the photos to me specifically so I could use them on the web site, he certainly will not object to free publicity on Wikipedia! Morgan Wright 18:54, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
