This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Hi editors! I'm Thomas and I work at GMMB, the firm co-founded by Jim Margolis. I'm here on behalf of Mr. Margolis to ask for some edits to this article. To follow Wikipedia guidelines for financial conflict of interest, I'm making this request for other editors to review and won't edit directly.
The edits I'm proposing are listed below, with explanations and full citations.
Replace the old photograph with one that is newer. I've uploaded to Wikimedia Commons here
Add "Senators" in front of the mentions of Brock Adams and Kent Conrad in "Political career", since readers may not be aware of who Adams and Conrad are, without more context.
Include some updates and additional details at the end of "Political career". This would expand upon the existing information about Obama, add more recent information about his work on the campaigns for Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, and mention some of his other high profile political work that has received media coverage. The edits are as follows:
Replace the existing sentence about Obama with the following: In the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, Margolis was a senior advisor to Barack Obama and led the paid media effort for the campaigns.[1][2] Margolis also co-produced Obama’s two national conventions[3] and both of his inaugural celebrations.[4][5]
Add two new paragraphs of text to the end of the section:
^Simone, Pathe (July 22, 2016). "Hillary Clinton's Political Team". Congressional Quarterly Magazine. Margolis was senior adviser to Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns and co-producer of his inaugurations.
Below you will see where proposals from your request have been quoted with reviewer decisions and feedback inserted underneath, either accepting, declining or otherwise commenting upon your proposal(s). Please read the enclosed notes within the proposal review section below for information on each request. Spintendo02:30, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, Margolis was a senior advisor to Barack Obama and led the paid media effort for the campaigns
In 2015, Margolis became a senior advisor for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, leading her paid media effort and serving on her leadership team.
During his time at GMMB, Margolis has consulted for and helped lead the campaigns of United States House members and senators including Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid Mark Warner and Ron Wyden, and governors including Gretchen Whitmer
^The Roll Call reference URL was not reachable. The Rolling Stone reference states that the subject "helmed" the 2012 campaign and "rode shotgun" during the 2008 campaign. This delineation is not expressed in the proposed text, which states he was a "senior advisor" in both election years.
^The reference provided states that the subject was "behind" the two inaugurations, but does not clarify if "being behind" is the same as co-producing, which is the language used in the proposed text.
^This portion of your request could not be implemented because the reference provided, MSNBC, states that their information came from the Washington Post, which was not provided as a source in the edit request.
^It is not known what is meant by the use of the term "helped lead".
