Summarizing spoiler criticism in the lead (updated)

I think we should summarize the notable spoiler criticism in one or two sentences
Withdrawing request for now pending better sources Superb Owl (talk) 17:44, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

This includes mention of the Russia controversies from 2016 as they are still being referenced in current (2024) coverage of Stein as a current critique Superb Owl (talk) 16:23, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
It is mentioned in the lead so should be included in some form in the article body. We could include it along with Stein's statements about Democrats trying "to sue us off multiple state ballots" to cheat and "change the rules to maintain their grip on power" and her criticism of the two main candidates that "Americans are not voting for a candidate they like... They're generally voting against the candidate they hate the most".
What events from 2016 do you think are relevant to this campaign? Burrobert (talk) 07:43, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
The event I had cited from a 2024 AP article was in 2015/2016 but it was phrased as current criticism (not past criticism).
The current article was reverted manually without explanation by an anonymous user, hence the confusion here. I will hold off on any suggestions until this gets sorted and the unsourced material is removed. I am going to remove the BBC article because it seems out of date and would rather use something better if we are going to dive into creating a 'Reception' section Superb Owl (talk) 07:47, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
