This unsupportable assertion is contradicted by the 8 sources in the reference section. A quick Google search finds many more. A search of books finds more. Should it come up at AfD, one can produce dozens of reliable sources. If you have some other more rationale reason to delete, please say so, but keep in mind WP:PPOV eg.
