Delete fan links?

I changed the wording in the links (Staite vs Jewel), but some are just fan pages. Personally, I have no beef with links that are properly IDed as fan sites, but I've seen them cut from other articles so perhaps they are against wiki guidlines. RoyBatty42 18:20, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Angel appearance

I cut the following from the article:

  • She first worked for Joss Whedon in the role of a ballerina in an episode of Angel.

I checked both IMDB and tv.com and found no listing for an Angel appearance. Even the fan site listedI think whoever wrote that is confusing Staite with Summer Glau who WAS on Angel as a ballerina. --RoyBatty42 18:20, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I got the two confused. Thanks for fixing this. Avt tor 21:45, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

her own weblog

Theres a link to what is apparently "Staite's very own Weblog" does this work for anyone ? did it ever work ? I dont want to remove a link that possibly works, but im doubting its authenticity. MBlue2020 23:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

changes the article regarding "best known for"

I have reworded the article and especially the introduction since with the prominence of Stargate Sg-1 and the fact that her character is now a main cast member, she can now be equally best known for her work in firefly and stargate. Doctoroxenbriery (talk) 00:23, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

First Paragraph

"She can also be seen as Dr. Jennifer Keller on Stargate Atlantis, the Disney Channel show Flash Forward as Rebecca Fisher, and as Catalina on the Nickelodeon show Space Cases."

I don't think Flash Forward or Space Cases are significant enough to be on here and even if they are, she can also be seen implies she is still on those shows even though neither of them are on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ZODtheReaper (talkcontribs) 02:11, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Wrong Matt Anderson

I'm pretty sure she's not married to the baseball player as linked. 72.146.158.134 (talk) 17:04, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

What about the online popularity she gained, which sometimes borders on worship? --Lennier1 (talk) 14:14, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Aside from that being a little creepy, it really can't be added in unless it's been covered by reliable sources. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 14:16, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Maui

thought she was born on maui

According to tv.com, she moved Maui shortly after birth. RoyBatty42 18:20, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
I expect that, being an infant, she had little say in the matter and that it was her PARENTS who moved to Maui, taking her along for shits and giggles.
I'd suspect their motivations for bringing her were closer to "not allowing their daughter to starve in their absence" than "shits and giggles". --King Öomie 09:03, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Additional Citations tag

Looking over this article, it seems to be at Start or C rated article. Can anyone tell me why the Additional Citations tag is or was placed on this article? Morenooso (talk) 10:09, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Because it lacks citations? It only has five, three of which are discussing Stargate and another role plus another two citations in the filmography table. There should be some in the intro for her DoB as well as some in the personal information section for the appropriate claims. Peachey88 (Talk Page · Contribs) 13:30, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
For an article of this length, those citations are properly placed and reflect what seems to be her most current acting credits. Unless there is something I am missing (such something very doubtful in her resume or achievements), the additional citations tag is frivolous. In reading the talkpage, I can how "fan type" might have occurred but with good editors watching over the page and having new material properly sourced, this should not be a problem.Morenooso (talk) 16:46, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Party Mania

Was party mania in the filmography and then deleted? I ask because I searched "Party Mania Jewel Staite" in google and the wikipedia link to this article appears, and it mentions Party Mania, but when i open the article it doesn't appear. Maybe it was here and someone deleted it for a reason? I can't find it in the history. I added it. If it used to be here and then deleted for a good reason please tell me.--Jim88Argentina (talk) 17:45, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I removed it. And I'm going to remove it again for several reasons:
