"The Mummy: The Animated Series" and "The Mummy: Secrets of the Medjai"

The Mummy TV show is coming back on Oct. 2, 2001! Toon Disney website, TV guide, and commercials prove it. It's going to be on after Jackie chan ADventures at 7:30 pm, instead of Yin Yang Yo. The character Im Hoetep was portrayed as an evil dark villain. In reality, Im Hoetep was the original father of medicine not Hippocrates. Im Hoetep was an African human being!!!!As I was watching this show with my five year old, I was appalled!!68.47.51.206 15:00, 24 October 2000 (UTC)

Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!

Re: Citation needed - Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go is screened on the UK version of Jetix, dunno about elsewhere. Digifiend 10:51, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Whereas, Star Wars: Clone Wars was not, it was shown on Cartoon Network. Digifiend 11:19, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

NASCAR

NASCAR Racers was made by Saban, that automatically makes it a Fox Kids show, as they were the same company until both met their demise when Disney bought them out. Digifiend 12:08, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Digimon's channel in the UK

This page claims that Digimon: Digital Monsters is "Now Banned from the UK And Airing Soon On Toonami Channel In UK Instead." Does anyone have proof of this? '(anon)'

  • Banned!?! That's nonsense, if it were banned it couldn't be shown on another channel. But CITV aborted a few episodes into season 3, and Jetix/Fox Kids has never shown season 4. Perhaps its Savers, season 5, which will be on Toonami. Digifiend 12:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Dude, you obviously don't seem to get it that, shortly after Jetix was added, many of the older shows that Toon Disney was meant for fans of, such as DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, were removed, and they haven't been seen on TV since then. Plus, Power Rangers isn't even animated to begin with; therefore, putting it on a all-cartoon channel is a good enough reason for Toon Disney's older viewers to hate Jetix. - Nintendo Maximus

In Case You Have Not Noticed, Power Rangers Is One Of The Most Succesful Shows on The Network, It Will Never Get Cancelled, So Get Over It!!! Tomjerry9 14:38, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Goosebumps???

Where did it come from that Goosebumps 2007 wass going to start airing on the US Jetix? --Libertyernie2 17:10, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

These aren't shows!

When was there a Halo show or an Earthbound show? When was it on Jetix? Methinks this info is fake. 66.63.86.156 18:45, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Nickelodeon

- Since when did Jetix air Martin Mystery and The Fairly OddParents?!?!? - --Caldorwards4 23:27, 26 January 2006 (UTC) - - It's Jetix in Europe. Not every country has Nick, my friend. If they do, then they must not have the rights to those shows. How Jetix ended up with them is beyond me. 206.211.69.253 17:37, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

  • They should launch Jetix as a seperate channel like in the UK, that would solve the Toon Disney problem. It could even replace TD outright, like Cinemagic did in the UK. Digifiend 10:49, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

I concur. Jetix should be a separate channel. Toon Disney should be Disney only. 67.188.172.165 05:30, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

  • I agree with the Jetix channel in the US, but replacing Toon Disney? Nuh-uh. No.
  • Jetix already takes 14 out of 24 hours 5 days a week, (which means that 58.3% of the time TD is Jetix) so they should just rename the network (the other 2 days it is 17 out of 24 (70.8%))71.179.40.197 (talk) 21:35, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 02:31, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Criticism

I stumbled on the Internet and got Anti-Jetix boards. Should we add that?--AJ44 (talk) 05:16, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

jetix

will the cancelling of jetix be delayed since the dtv switch is now on june 18,2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyclone39 (talkcontribs) 20:13, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Defunct?

Is the Jetix brand still used anywhere, or has it been completely superseded by Disney XD? If so, should this page be restructured to reflect this, and should the majority of its content be moved to Disney XD? I'd think that {{Jetix}} might also be due for a restructuring, since most if not all of the Jetix stations now appear to have been rebranded as Disney XD. (See Talk:Disney XD#US channel or global brand? for a possibly related discussion.) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 06:09, 8 November 2009 (UTC)JETIX Admin10 I just sent a message to Disney saying I want jetix to be on a separate channel and I told them that Cartoon Network had put boomerang on a separate channel so Jetix might come back and I asked them that Disney XD could be on a separate channel. So there might be a sign that jetix might come and might have all the shows that are on the other jetix channels worldwide and on all the jetix channels in the United States.

Primary source information

I believe the following should be added in:

Fox Kids stated the unique name was developed with a goal of finding a word that implied action and adventure, and allowed the named to be used in a number of international markets without being a proper name for something else. Bruce Steinberg, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Fox Kids Europe said: "Jetix propels Fox Kids’ offering of high-energy entertainment to a worldwide kids audience. This will strengthen Fox Kids Europe’s partnership with Disney and enable us to develop exciting original programming to bring to this expanded audience and continue our success as the leading pan-European kids action-adventure entertainment company".[1]

Would fall under this rule: Policy: Unless restricted by another policy, primary sources that have been reliably published may be used in Wikipedia; but only with care, because it is easy to misuse them.[4] Any interpretation of primary source material requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation. A primary source may only be used on Wikipedia to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge.
Clearly this falls under this, as who else would have used such information.
No, it seem to be made the article move towards marketing speak. Secondly, I used some other primary sources and adding additional primary source move the article towards relying too much on primary sources. as per WP:PRIMARY: "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources and primary sources." So, primary source should not be used if it can be helped and can be removed. Spshu (talk) 18:08, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
I will try and reword the paragraph then, but it will be extremely unlikely a another source can be found for this, but a reword should slove most of the issues. --Crazyseiko (talk) 18:22, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
You didn't reword, you continued to re-add it with other duplicate information and tons of primary sources. And now you are upset that I continued to reject it to the point that reverse my rewrite for no reason except for being upset. Spshu (talk) 14:52, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
"I did not agree... why do you dislike all PR speak?" Don't you know what an encyclopedia is? WP:PROMOTION: "Information about companies and products must be written in an objective and unbiased style, free of puffery. All article topics must be verifiable with independent, third-party sources,..." So, I am giving you the chance to resort my rewrite of the information that you wanted and blindly reverted. Jetix Play UK

I remember flicking the Sky EPG when I was very young on a weekly basis. I don't recall a Jetix Play in the UK. Was it replaced by anything? What number did it stand on in the EPG? The Toon Disney Guy (talk) 08:10, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Your right it was not in the UK. --Crazyseiko (talk) 13:18, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
Jetix Play UK was not on BskyB but on Telewest when relaunched and it looked like when it closed it was only available in Central and Eastern Europe. It was not replaced as far as I can tell. Spshu (talk) 16:53, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Jetix on Qubo Channel

Contested changes to infobox

In these edits [2] and [3] submitted by both an IP editor and a logged-in editor The Gold VR who I assume are the same person, there are attempts to expand the content in the infobox. I've contested these edits because the infobox isn't intended to replace properly sourced prose content in the rest of the article. Too often the infobox is used as a lazy catch-all for as much content as people can cram into it. The content also is entirely unsourced, which makes it inherently problematic. If the user(s) want to include this information, they must achieve a local consensus here, which entails arguing for inclusion based on existing Wikipedia guidelines. Currently the content isn't consistent with WP:OR or Template:Infobox TV channel. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:16, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Merge?

Is It Possible To Merge Both Toon Disney & Jetix Articles To Form Disney XD Since Toon Disney & Jetix Became Disney XD? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:8FE0:2240:B42C:130C:3CED:EB8C (talk) 13:27, 13 September 2019 (UTC)

It is possible. But Jetix just did not become Disney XD some channels regular Disney Channels. Spshu (talk) 14:40, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
It is possible but that won't happen, as Toon Disney had a different ending in other countries, and wasn't available in much of the world either. --Bankster (talk) 00:47, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
