Queston: Why would Jesus be Jewish? He of Christian Faith!

- Jesus was definitely Jewish. In fact, he could not possibly be a Christian, considering Christianity involves worshipping Jesus, and he can not worship himself. The Grim Hunter 07:59, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Jesus was Jewish. Christianity applies the the Jewish faith as the "Old Testament" and tacks on the teachings of Jesus to create the "New Testament". Evilgohan2 02:48, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Age
I have a way to determine Jesus' age. Well, he was born in the year 0 B.C., but in the episode "Red Sleigh Down", he dies. He was 2002 years old at that time, seeing as his birthday is on Christmas; that episode aired before Christmas 2002. He was resurrected in "Fantastic Easter Special", which aired on April 4, 2007. So, he is currently 2002 (if you count 0 B.C.), and will be 2003 this year. I'm gonna change his age to 2002. --98E 00:40, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- According to wikipedia, there is no year zero.--Steven X 12:40, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Not just 0, 0 B.C. - Super48 15:40, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Just because you're dead doesen't mean you don't age. I changed it to 2006 because he'll only be 2007 on Christmas. you're not colorblind, it's colored this way. Or maybe you are. Misteryoshi 23:12, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
historical
"Based on the historical and religious figure of the same name" This suggests Jesus actually existed. This is in the least a controversial statement (see s11e12 :-p)and I dont think this page is the place for that discussion. I think the word 'religious' alone covers the meaning of the sentence perfectly, therefore I changed the sentence to: "Based on the religious figure of the same name" --82.92.99.177 01:12, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
If you read the article on Jesus you'll find it's more or less agreed he did exist, although whether he performed miracles and/or was the Son of God is open to debate. There's no need to remove the statement about him being a historical figure because it's POV. If it was POV we'd have to make some hefty edits to the article on the actual Jesus. Category
I don't believe this page should be featured in the category "Fictional characters based on real people" because, like the above post, this insinuates that Jesus Christ actually existed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.24.212.154 (talk) 20:12, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Continuity question: Pre Imaginationland Jesus and Post Imaginationland Jesus
Hey folks,
Just a quick question, what is the official status of this character ? Is this character real as he represented in the episodes before "Imaginationland" (ie. when hosting "Jesus and Pals", or is the character just imaginary and does not exist in the South Park universe, or was this character portrayed the way it was in "Imaginationland" via a Ad Hoc decision by the makers of the show ?
--Beckhendrix996 (talk) 06:43, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
South Park has a very loose continuity, details change all the time to make a joke, point, or to tell a specific sort of story. It would be unnecessary to try and explain continuity "errors" like whether or not Jesus exists because South Park pays little attention to it. Ash Loomis (talk) 05:03, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Palz.jpg
Image:Palz.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merger Proposal
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result was merge into DESTINATION PAGE. -- SoSaysChappy (talk) 11:26, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Merge as per merging guidelines (silence on talk page after one week)
Jesus and Pals should be merged with this article. There's already a subsection on this article for it, with also a link to the main article, which doesn't elaborate much further than what this article already does. What little extra info it does provide should just be added here. Thoughts? - SoSaysChappy (talk) 19:58, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
