In my opinion, this article either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.

[edit]Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.
Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I am nonetheless willing to assist User:ArleArt (talk · contribs), and other recent contributors to this article, to make constructive improvements to it ... I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

Linkspam
[edit]Please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard/Archive 20#Category:Cuban contemporary artists, and do not add links to www.cubancontemporaryart.com again to this or other articles. —72.75.72.63 (talk) 05:41, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I understand what you guys were arguing about but by looking at the catched spot, which is what my URL was it showed the direct page linking to that article without going through the home page. My link was not to www.cubancontemporaryart.com but to www.cubancontemporaryart.com/modules/vgalleryii/index.php?pa=viewautorida&arch=1&codigo=196 . Callelinea (talk) 05:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- The bot went through and deleted all links to that base URL (cubancontemporaryart.com), as it is not a WP:RS site, and it's primary function is selling works of art, which makes it WP:LINKSPAM ... also, it violates Links normally to be avoided because it requires registration for full access ... that was the Consensus. —72.75.72.63 (talk) 06:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
