Article Title

[edit]

Hi Leercekim How nice that someone has written an article about world champion Jess Lockwood! If I could just make a small suggestion about the title while the article is still new and isn't a lot of work to change yet?

Per disambiguation, WP:ATDAB and other existing bull riders, it is generally done to use (bull rider) after the rider's name in the title. Like Luke Snyder (bull rider).

However, if you are set on using professional bull rider, I'd have to at least point out that articles are supposed to be written in sentence case which means that professional bull rider should not have any caps on the first letter of each word. I point to WP:TITLEFORMAT and MOS:HEADCAPS for reference, which would agree that if it wouldn't be capitalized in running prose, it also should not be capitalized in a title. ("Jess Lockwood is a professional bull rider", not "Jess Lockwood is a Professional Bull Rider"). I'd also keep in mind that policy says to keep titles as concise as possible. Thanks for listening. dawnleelynn(talk) 03:47, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

p.s. I forgot to say that I am a new page reviewer. I have approved your article earlier. dawnleelynn(talk) 03:52, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A consensus of editors decided not to have 8 rodeo events as subprojects of Rodeo... bull riding should never have been added. I was going to delete it the other day but the policy on projects reccommended setting it to inactive rather than deletion. dawnleelynn(talk) 21:25, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

p.s. The bull riding project is not added to any rodeo wikiprojects. The Rodeo wikiproject is added to all of them... And the number of bull riding articles or any rodeo event does not warrant a sub-project at this point. But thanks for the thought...
