Article cleanup needed
[edit]There are cite tags from over 2 years ago, and other issues tagged since 2/2010. I removed a claim that he was 'lovingly known as the "Snowman"', as inappropriate for encyclopaedia format, added a couple of cite tags myself, and noted the amount of "weasel" language in the article - but don't really know where to begin with all the problems. Anyone else have suggestions? Cheers, Trista Triste Tierra (talk) 05:04, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
The first paragraph of his early life section is unclear...the reference to his grandfather doesn`t make sense...there is no citation...I get shot down for citing references that eggheads don`t like but then I read a lot articles of a more pseudo-intellectual nature that sometimes attract "professional" editors who often have axes to grind...Jerry was a great picker...there should be more content regarding his guitar playing ability...other than that it`s a pretty good article...24.207.117.131 (talk) 07:08, 10 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Why no mention of his voice over work in cartoons, such as "Scooby-Doo Where are you" ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.37.244.100 (talk) 22:05, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Jerry Reed Photo
[edit]Let me preface my comments by saying how much I truly enjoy Wikipedia. I love to learn all I can about a topic or person of interest and this is my number one stop online. So much information here.
I am a huge fan of Jerry Reed and when I first saw his page was taken aback at the photo of him. There are so many good photos of him available but the one used shows him not at his best and smoking a cigarette that takes up a lot of space. Please consider replacing the one in use. Jerry looks tired here and that is not a good way to present him to the public.
Thanks so much for letting me comment.

The one they have now is even worse. What an obnoxious angle. The person that chooses the photo is a real joker apparently. 2601:404:CB01:C0E0:2D8B:483E:B4FF:76E6 (talk) 01:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Add citations template removed?
[edit]This article seems to have sufficient citations - is it time to remove the 2018 needs citation template? MoviePhan (talk) 18:51, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
