Middle name
[edit]Has Tate replaced his middle name? Is "Sheffer" no longer part of his name? Under which name was he born? Badagnani 01:06, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, is Mr. Tate now editing this article? That's great! But the removal of "Sheffer" doesn't make sense, and it may confuse people who see that name from past concert programs but don't see any mention of that name. Even though he's not using it any longer, it should be mentioned, as we do for any other people born with one name but using another one now (like Bob Dylan, et al.). Badagnani 05:25, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, the above doesn't make sense. There's no byline on the bio and those are obscure bits of information that are verifiable, and should be cited. I did nothing wrong in adding those references. Badagnani 19:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Sourcing
[edit]I have temporarily reduced the article to a stub, in accordance with WP:BLP, as the material was not sufficiently sourced. I have also protected the article for 1 hour to avoid further edit warring. Marasmusine (talk) 10:01, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Format conventions
[edit]The article needs to conform to Wikipedia conventions for structure and headings. In addition, material needs to be sourced, without exclusively representing the composer's view of his work and life.Parkwells (talk) 13:29, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
Added standard headers, format
[edit]Have added several headers for format, and to make the article easier to follow. Added considerable content about his early influences and works, and numerous cites.Parkwells (talk) 16:13, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Correcting spelling of Jerod's middle name in article title
[edit]The article title would be accurate if Jerod's middle name were written Impichchaachaaha' or Impichchąachaaha', as either the underline or the ogonek represents nasalization in Chikashshanompa'. Pichąa means "corn crib," but "pichaa" doesn't mean anything. LimbicLogic (talk) 16:42, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
