Hello...I don't know who keeps track of these things but...this page was messy and gross. Like, poorly maintained. I deleted a bunch of stuff. 24.175.111.41 (talk) 05:23, 31 October 2009 (UTC)? I have no account[reply]

NPOV Dispute

[edit]

This page reads like a résumé and makes unfounded claims ("Jeff Koons of fashion", "The shoes became instant iconic bestsellers" - citations?). Also, this page has been a target of vandalism following allegations that Jeremy Scott plagiarised work from Santa Cruz Skateboards, I thought a fair way of resolving the situation would be a carefully worded "Controversy" section (I provided 4 references for this). Requesting the deletion by User:75.20.130.79 be reversed and the section be reinstated. --junction (talk) 09:31, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I removed a lot from this article.

[edit]

I removed a lot from this article. Ther were no sources, and dead links. It also read like a fan page.--BeckiGreen (talk) 00:43, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Everything removed was correct and documented, it just lacked citations. A quick google search would have shown you how many reference s could have been added to for instance the "jeff koons of fashion". Also please do not continue to add legally defaming statements. The sources you site are not considered credible. By continuing to publish such works you are continuing the damages which are actionable, and libelous. (unsigned statement was added by User:75.20.130.79)

I also removed large unsourced sections. Just include citations going forward please. --Malerooster (talk) 01:05, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed more; the article read as if written by the PR consultant for this person. Wikipedia is not an advertising platform. User:75.20.130.79, stop issuing phony legal threats here. Brocach (talk) 18:13, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Native American material

[edit]

I removed some material cited to a non notable blog. Was this picked up in the press? --Malerooster (talk) 01:43, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It also had a non notable site as well, fastcodesign.com, for a cite --Malerooster (talk) 01:48, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my mistake! --junction (talk) 16:05, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologize. --Malerooster (talk) 19:22, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopaedic value of a list of customers?

[edit]

We do not, when dealing with truly great artists, name people who buy their works of art. Someone seems to think that this article should list people who have bought shoes etc. designed by this individual, giving detailed citations. Discuss... Brocach (talk) 16:28, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting relevant information

[edit]

Wow the fact that he was named creative director of Moschino was deleted. This seems relevant. As does the fact that he designed the costumes for Madonna's Super Bowl performance. Also major artists he collaborated or designed costumes for such as Bjorks, Britany's toxic,ect...this seems like stuff that belongs in an encyclopedia...if people see the costumes they might come to Winkepedia to see if Jeremy Scott designed them....well they wouldn't find it here...google would be better. Sad. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.20.130.79 (talk) 07:11, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jimmy Savile?!

[edit]

Are the mentions of Jimmy Savile genuine or vandalism? If genuine they need references. JezGrove (talk) 11:21, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dead citations

[edit]

Links such as citation 40 redirect to pages no longer available. As a fashion student working from this page, this is unhelpful and discredits wikipedia as a whole. 82.29.249.179 (talk) 14:51, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
