Removing All Criticism Of Jacobs

[edit]

Wlwatk and others continue to remove anything remotely critical of Jacobs, and replace it with glowing praise. The complaints about his ownership of the Bruins are well known, well sourced and relevant to this article. Please stop removing them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyndi crumwell (talkcontribs) 18:23, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please abide by Bios of living people. It is not relevant to site backpage and unofficial websites in reference. If you want to commment specifically on the Boston Bruins, please make your comments on that page. Conversations specifically regarding the Boston Bruins belong on the Boston Bruins page. Currently there is no ownership discussion on that website. This reference is for official living person bio and has restrictions as it relates to negative, ill-sources; and/or out of date references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wlwatk (talkcontribs) 18:29, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Backpage and unofficial websites? Like Forbes and ESPN? Give me a break, all the info critical of Jacobs' ownership of the Bruins is well-sourced and referenced. And none of it violates the living persons bio rules. And, since Jacobs' is best known as the owner of the Bruins it is completely relevant to this article. Oh, and I added an ownership section to the Bruins' page per your suggestion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyndi crumwell (talkcontribs) 19:39, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a big Wikipedia contributor or anything...but this page is insanely squeaky clean. A little too convenient I would say.

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Jeremy Jacobs/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I came to this Jeremy Jacobs site from the Yosemite National Park site

I was interested in the owner of the concessions in the park as they are absolutely terrible. I was not surprised to find a trilateral commission member and arch republican owner of the Delaware North Companies the largest consession company in the world but the Jacobs site fails to mention even what I learned about this person on the yosemite site.....I must assume someone from Jeremy Jacobs personal world entered this

blurb about the man....who was his father and mother

what has his company done historically....where did he attend school? did he gratuate college? is he a good ole boy or a white supremist? this guy affects billions of people lives everyday....he's not just some hockey guy.

Please!!!!
