New Problems

[edit]

I appreciate that you started an article on Jennifer Braun, altough your links to the songs Bee und Satellite create new problems. We would eventually acknowledge that those articles are about both versions of the song, which would require to rewrite parts of them, include a significant amount of new information and lastly moving them. For now I have added Braun's chart positions in both articles as otherwise the information in this article and in the articles on the songs would be contradicting. I am still explicitly opposed to the articles being about both versions, though, and I haven't heard any argument against splitting them into two artciles, but at least we have to be consistent. I don't think it's a problem if you create stubs for Braun's versions. Both songs probably satisfy Wikipedia:Notability (music) ("have been ranked on national music charts"). EnemyOfTheState|talk 11:06, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it was not a good idea, to credit both songs only to Lena. What will happen, when others will sing these songs too? So renaming of both song articles is a must. 2 cents of Mutter Erde. Regards 92.229.219.250 (talk) 12:09, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. There are others who have sung songs called "Satellite" before and they have different articles (see here, here and here). The same should happen with all future songs that may be called Satellite. Treating all songs with the name Satellite in one article is just ludicrous and by the way against Wikipedia conventions. Since Braun's versions are probably notable themselves (as they charted independently), it would indeed be better to create own stubs to avoid confusion, althought I don't really care creating them. Well, I guess I'll do it, so that this problem will be solved for good. Janfrie1988 (talk) 22:42, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
