"After the divorce, Jennie remarried, becoming an artist living in the southwestern United States" Sounds as though she somehow "became" an artist after the divorce. Why not say "works as an artist"?

so did she actually write the Aqualung lyrics

[edit]

or did she just inspire them with her photography? 69.86.235.245 (talk) 21:48, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She is credited with the lyric, but according to Ian Anderson--if I understand him correctly--only provided the concept behind the lyric. TheScotch (talk) 08:07, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored Ian's discussion of her role, abbreviated. There is more at the Tull FAQ website.
I have been attending Tull concerts since the 1970s, and I had assumed he was simply giving her a perpetual royalty. Since the lyrics sound like Ian.

Musician?

[edit]

Why has Jennie Franks been categorized as a musician? There's no indication in the article that she has ever recorded or performed any music. 128.214.197.225 (talk) 09:26, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
