WWE / ring name

[edit]

Her name is not Penelope Carwin and she has yet debuted on FCW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.201.35.211 (talk) 16:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, one reliable source says she has signed a contract with WWE, and another says she has debuted and is using the name Penelope Carwin. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:46, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

diva-dirt.com is not a reliable source

[edit]

The news of Jemma Palmer's signing to WWE was broken by this website, yet that is not a reliable source? How is this so? The reference you have cited credits Diva-Dirt.com as having broken the news. It makes no sense to bypass the original source and credit a source that got the news from Diva-Dirt.com. If the original source is so unreliable, the news of her signing should NOT be acknowledged at all because all of the references you have cited got the news from Diva-Dirt.com. Does that not make it null & void? Ridiculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.225.105 (talk) 01:28, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What? Where in [1] or [2] (the two cited sources in the article) does it say the information was taken from diva-dirt.com? ♥NiciVampireHeart13:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

how does one prove that information is from the actual person? is the actual person that the page is about not allowed to alter information in order to make the page more factual and informative? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agentinferno (talkcontribs) 12:23, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citing one's own personal knowledge is not permitted (see WP:No original research#Citing_oneself). Anything added must be published by reliable sources. In other words, if you are the subject or know the subject, you can't cite that in itself when adding something. Also, please see the guideline Wikipedia:Autobiography.
