[edit]Her correct title is Marchioness De Grey (not de Grey) how should this be fixed for indexing?Eddaido (talk) 21:39, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
suo jure marchionesses
[edit]The article presently reads:
On 5 June that year, she succeeded as Marchioness Grey (becoming the second of only two suo jure marchionesses ever - the other being Anne Boleyn) by a special remainder upon the death of her maternal grandfather, the Duke of Kent, who held the title.
Another suo jure marchioness was Ehrengard Melusina von der Schulenburg, who was created Marchioness of Dungannon in 1716. I'm removing the text in parentheses from the article. Opera hat (talk) 16:05, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Also the 3rd Duchess of Hamilton (Marchioness of Clydesdale) and the 2nd Duchess of Marlborough (Marchioness of Blandford). Proteus (Talk) 16:25, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Reference for this subject
[edit]Noted this as a reference on her daughter's page while investigating what I mistook as a unnecessary redirect, and at first took it as a bio for the daughter, but it is an ODNB entry for the subject of this article. Although it requires subscription, these entries can be viewed at public libraries and institutions by members of the public, so I'm putting this up here for info and in case anyone wants to use it for expanding/double checking the article. (no time right now...) Was surprised it wasn't already a reference on Jemima Yorke's page. Mabalu (talk) 15:49, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
