Jehdeiah or Jedediah?

[edit]

The spelling of the given name of this biographical subject needs to be researched and verified. Two of the sources for content for this article note that it was "Jedediah" and not "Jehdeiah," including the Green Bay Weekly Gazette item, "Death of J. Bowen, of Ripon." I'm initiating this talk page discussion so that Wikipedia editors may discuss, confirm, and then document their conclusions regarding the correct spelling. Thank you in advance for your help. 47thPennVols (talk) 02:37, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Asked and answered: Per the website of Ripon College[1] and a profile of Bowen in The Carbondale Leader[2] the correct spelling of the given name is "Jehdeiah." 47thPennVols (talk) 02:40, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
